Mobile TV Player

The Mobile TV Player is a downloadable java/symbian client application that allows a more convenient TV viewing experience for the end user. This solution for Broadcasters and Mobile Operators has capacity to deliver a variety of channels to their customers. The application could be either downloaded or pre-installed on the phone.

Key features

Consumers will have an optimal experience similar to normal television. E.g the possibility of switching channels, see video in full screen, consult program guides and interact with the service provider by simply pressing a button.
Live and On-Demand services can be incorporated into the application. The player can be branded and extended to provide interactive services like quizzing, voting, chatting, gambling and shopping.
Rubberduck has successfully implemented cliend-based mobile TV services with network operators like:
3 Sweden and Denmark, NetCom (Norway) and Vox (Luxembourg).
The application is available for Symbian (Series 60 v.7.0 and above) and Java MIDP 2.0 phones; this supports a good number of handsets in the market today.
You can use both the phone buttons and screen buttons to navigate the simulator.
